SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER
Boniface is the Organization's Program Manager who over looks the planning and implementation of all development programs under the CCDO hood.
Boniface combines technical capacity in Wash Projects, Public Health, Economics, Rural Development and Agriculture with proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research data analysis, consultancy, project designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation. He is a holds an Advanced Diploma in Project Management with over 10 years’ of work experience.
Boniface believes that he can bring change to the community. He wishes to build a community where young girls finish secondary school education, youth are getting jobs and people living with HIV get easy assistance to health care
Dalitso has been working with CCDO for the last six years where he is the overall in charge of the organization. Apart from initiating, designing, and implementing activities, he also provides leadership, administrative and financial guidance for the organization.
Dalitso is a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow for Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and holds a certificate in Civic Leadership from Kansas State University Staley School of Leadership Studies in the United States of America. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Malawi where he concentrated on socio-economic and political issues affecting rural communities. Dalitso also studied project management cycle, and is an accomplished project manager with over seven projects managed throughout his service.
Dalitso is motivated by his commitment to sustainable social and economic development and he envisions a transformed society where the rural youth and young women have equal access to health services, economy and formal education.
Shy Ali is a Project Officer and holds A Degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations. He also holds certificates in Theatre for Development, Project and Financial Management, Community Development, Human Rights and Governance, and other honorary credentials.
Having worked for over 10 years in the community development domain, he is very skilled and experienced in project designing and programming towards improvement of the underprivileged and marginalized communities.
As a young person, Shy wanted to be of service to his community, looking at how vulnerable they are. He has a passion to see things change for people in terms of their financial status. They should be able to get up in the morning, have a cup of tea, take their lunch, and live happily. He believes in giving people hope so they work harder to better their future.
Chisomo Phaiya, a holder of Diploma in Journalism from the Malawi Institute of Journalism (MIJ) and an Under Graduate of the University of Malawi under the same program. She has over five years of work experience in Radio, Print and Television productions.
Her career has molded her into a good development journalist who mobilizes communities to keep girls in schools as well as empowering young women to stand for their rights as they are victims of Gender Based Violence. By designing programs and implementing them, she has helped in the visibility of the organization.
JOAN FAITH DZIWANI
Joan is working with CCDO as the finance officer. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Audit and Information Systems from Malawi College of Accountancy. She is result oriented with more than five years of increasingly responsible experience with a record of effectively resolving accounting assignments in donor funded and deadline driven environments. A logical thinker, able to learn, adapt and promote new ethical standards while maintaining high levels of integrity and professionalism.
Passionate about working with rural communities especially adolescent girls about issues relating to sexual reproductive, health rights and issues to do with gender based violence.
“educate a girl child, a step closer to ending gender based violence” is her motto.
Mwayi Benjamin is a holder of Advanced Diploma in Computing and Information Systems. She is working with CCDO as an Administrative Secretary and Field Officer. Working with passion and integrity with rural communities’ especially adolescent girls and young mothers to keep them in schools and good health respectively.
With over three years’ experience in facilitating adolescent girls and young mothers on existing by-laws related to adolescent girls and young mothers rights.
Mary Phiri works with CCDO as a Field Officer (volunteer). She holds a diploma in Community Development Management and has participated in various training and was awarded a certificate in monitoring and evaluation. She values honesty, hardworking, team work and community mobilization.
She believes in dedicating her time, knowledge and expertise to uplift the women and youth of the country, develop the communities and work towards building a sustainable environment.
FARHEEN S. SAYED
OFF-SITE DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Farheen is working with the organization as on Off-site Volunteer. With a degree in Media Studies from the University of Derby, UK and international work experience in Dubai, Kuwait and India, Farheen has now set up her own media agency Social Donut One O One. The agency caters to all PR and media requirements for clients all over the world. Using her resources, knowledge and experience, Farheen has helped the organization in rebuilding their brand image and digital presence through re-branding, website design, social media management, digital marketing and so on. However, she doesn’t limit her contribution to just digital media. She has undertaken other responsibilities such as creating awareness, raising funds and acquiring new partners and donors.
Farheen strongly identifies with the organization’s goals and values and believes in the projects and activities to help develop the community.
